Farming plots are used to grow certain crops.
In order to plant a crop, you must have a Crude Hoe in your inventory (you don't have to be holding it in your hand). After the crop is planted, it must be watered to grow. The individual plots start with one water level. You can use one of the water storage items to water a crop up to its maximum capacity. If a plot has its water reduced to zero, the plant will die. One the water level reaches zero, you can no longer water the plot without removing the dead crop. However, if it rains while you are within range of the plot, it will replenish the water supply and the crop will eventually be revived.
It takes about 2-3 days for a plant to become fully grown, after which it can be collected. Farming plots must be placed on the ground; they cannot be placed on structures. It requires a Crude Hoe to place farming plots as well as the materials. The following farming plots are available for the player to use:
